The Essentials Project.
To work together as a community to provide immediate essential necessities to those who are in vulnerable situations.
This project is aimed at ensuring that women, men and children are provided with essential necessities who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence and/or affected by local emergencies through the distribution of essential items that many of us take for granted.
If you are in crisis or require assistance, there are free support services available to assist you. Please reach out to receive direct support and information.
What we do.
We create and distribute bags filled with essential necessities of hygiene and toiletries products to people in need.
Such as and not limited to toothpaste, brushes, shampoo, body wash and sanitary items.
We seek to provide essentials for men, women, babies, children and teenagers. Anyone in vulnerable and disadvantaged position.
Whether they are domestic violence victims fleeing immediately, temporarily or permanently homeless, individual or local emergency (house-fire/bushfire/flooding etc.
These are for people who need these items immediately while waiting or linking in with other services. We also work with other local charities to provide relief for this vulnerable group.
How can I help?
You can donate money to help us gather items for people in need, or you can donate essentials that we can pass on. The Essentials Projects is a registered charity and all contributions over $2 are tax deductible.
